suAzio opens its second healthcare center in Ecuador

suAzio is pleased to announce the opening of its second healthcare center in Ecuador located near Limoncito that will serve impoverished communities in the surrounding area. The new facility will provide much needed healthcare services to families who previously would often travel days to see a doctor. “I am very excited to continue the development of healthcare centers in this area, as there is a clear need for these services,” remarked Christophe Van der Linden, suAzio’s CEO, during the center’s official opening last month.

Guy Mennen, the local coordinator of the project, is also excited to see the continued expansion of these services in Ecuador: “suAzio is a very valuable partner and thanks to their support we have been able to really save lives here!”

Plans for a third facility are already in the works and will be based in Chongon, a settlement west of Guayaquil. This new center will require an investment of $50,000 and suAzio hopes to raise this money in the next 18 months through donations by physicians and managers that participate in its studies.

suAzio’s first healthcare center opened in 2011 in Guayaquil, Ecuador and has since then treated more than 25,000 patients. For more information about our centers and to make a donation, please visit
