Therefore, SUAZIO Consulting conducted an independent survey with a sample of health care professionals in the USA and EU to understand current procedure volumes, changes compared to their pre-COVID-19 volumes, and the outlook for 2021.

Key highlights:

  • 64% of respondents indicated a decrease in procedure volumes
  • Average procedure volumes were down in March by 20%
  • Earlier 2021 procedure growth in Non-Cardiac compared to Cardiac Segment
  • Procedure volumes back to pre-COVID volumes in November. However, no expected ‘over’-compensation for historic delayed procedures
